Claude Monet Painting “Water-Lily Pond”

This painting called Lily Pond by Claude Monet was one of his most famous pieces that he painted. Claude Monet was an impressionist painter, and it shows in his paintings, this shows because he did a lot of paintings, and different people got different impressions from his paintings. This painting scene was beside Claude Monet’s home, he painted the bridge with plants growing around it. I think that this painting is very beautiful because there are a lot of different colours used and the painting is also very calm to me. At this point of Claude Monet’s life he was exceptionally fond of painting controlled nature; this pond was near his garden in Giverny. Throughout most of Monet’s life, he paints all nature and scenes of all around the world. Monet was a very calm person who loved to paint nature, which is one of the reasons that all of his paintings are so calm and beautiful. This was also one of the locations of his journey, because he traveled all around the world to paint with different styles and scenes.

I think that Claude Monet decided to paint this scene because it is the most beautiful thing in scenery, and I think he also loved the scenery in his garden. I chose this painting because I absolutely love this painting; I think that it is one of the most beautiful paintings ever. I think that this painting’s emotions that are shown are really calm and all very positive, like peaceful, restful and beautiful. Some of the shapes that were used in the painting that I noticed were like circles, rectangles and lots of organic shapes. I saw the circles in the lily’s in the pond, the rectangles on the bridge, and the organic shapes all over the painting.

E.L.Konigsburg Book “The Outcasts of 19 Schuyler Place

This book by E.L.Konigsburg called “The Outcasts of 19 Schuyler Place” is a very exciting and interesting book. The book is about a girl who is standing up for her belongings and keeps going through everything. Margaret has realized that the towers are coming down in her yard that have been there for a very long time, her uncle’s had built them as well. She doesn’t want the towers to come down because they are very special to her and they put the final touch on the house. Margaret perseveres and goes out of her way to stop the demolition of the towers. In the time that she is doing things to stop the demolition, she goes out and takes the ownership of the towers, and lives in them. Until the workers come and hose her down so she is soaking wet, and has to get the fire fighters to get her out. There is a very strong message in the book that you have to read the whole entire book before you even start to understand the message. The massage that I received in the book is all about persevering and taking action for what you truly believe in.

I think E.L.Konigsburg decided to write this book because she wanted people to start taking action and persevering even when the going gets tough. I decided to work with this book because I just finished reading it and I thought that the book was outstanding, and I recommend that everyone read this book in the future. I really enjoyed this book because I thought that Margaret is a very good role model for all and I just feel that the book is amazing! The mood and emotions that I received while I was reading this book were both sad and happy. Sad because the meadowlarks, the girls that Margaret stayed with at camp, keep on bullying her, and lying about things that Margaret didn’t do. Happy because I really like the way that Margaret keeps on standing up for herself, and when the meadowlarks are not being kind, Margaret knows that they are lying and she stays happy. I also think that the emotions are happy because the message is very positive, and it will always stay positive.
